BrandNameShay

Shay, professionally known as BrandNameShay, is a media personality with an opinion about everything. She’s making her name as a host, model, designer and writer all while ‘doing the most’. North Carolina born and metro Atlanta raised, she’s navigating life as half country girl - half city girl. Rowdy and reflective. Turnt and thoughtful. In true Gemini fashion she has no choice but to give the best of both worlds.

DJ Candy Raine

DJ Candy Raine, has had a love for music since the age of four. She was introduced to music by Brandy’s debut album, but it would be years later that the DJ, host, and curator would solidify her roles in the industry. Since she purchased her first turn tables in 2012, DJ Candy Raine has performed at countless parties, concerts and events. She describes her sound as multifaceted, unique, and energized, bringing both chill and hype energy to any situation. Candy Raine is skilled in moving the crowd and having a pulse on what to play next. She’s known to set off sensual soundscapes laced in nostalgic R&B vibes, Caribbean rhythms, and strong hip hop beat, but  effortlessly segues between genres as an open format DJ. She impresses with her song choice, blends, and mixes, making her a go-to dj to book. Notably, she has DJ’d for Killer Mike, Lex Luger, DJ Sam Sneak, Dutch ReBelle, Jessie Woo, and the CarefeeBlackGirl Cookout Tour and opened up for Meg Thee Stallion at the 2018 Fader Fort hosted at the A3C Festival and Conference.

With almost 10 years of experience,  DJ Candy Raine’s mixes boast over 10,000 plays on soundcloud and she’s quickly becoming one of the most sought DJs. On top of deejaying, Candy Raine acts as co-host to the Carefreeblackgirl Podcast and hosts a weekly radio show on Sparkfmonline.com every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-5pm ET.
